Micke Pettersson and Ulf Sporrong were during the time 1 April - 12 June 1998 doing an exam work at Ericsson Radio System, Kista, Stockholm in the web security area. During this work a lot of information were gathered and this page was formed. Here are some some information about different methods and links to interesting sites on the web.

Cryptographic systems:
Security protocols/methods "on the market":
S/MIME - higher level protocol, eg add to the program you wish to use.
S-HTTP- higher level protocol, eg add to the program you wish to use
SSL- lower level protocol, eg create a secure channel to use.
SSH- lower level protocol, eg create a secure channel to use.
Other methods that we studied but were incomplete for our needs.
