IMM - International Mini Meeting

The IMM is an annual BIG meeting for all miniacs, traditionally arranged during the Whitsun (Pfingstern) weekend in May/June .
It started as a national Mini meeting in Germany and has expanded during the years. Most of the IMM's are taking place in Germany, as it is very central situated in Europe, most of the paticipants are Europeans.
Every fifth year is the IMM arranged by some english club in August together with the celebrations of the Minis birthday. The IMM´s arranged these years are of course bigger, up to 2.500 Minis, as the celebrations the last two times, 1989 and 1994, attracted 25.000 Minis and 125.000 visitors to the Silverstone race circuit.
At every IMM there is a chairmans meeting with representatives from all present clubs. At this meeting is discussed "rules" and problems around the IMM´s, how the meeting is and where the meeting is taking place the coming years, usually two year ahead.
Every IMM is a good party, where all people are having fun and just enjoying the Minis and other miniacs.
