A network for women in physics in Sweden formed at the Women Talking Physics meeting in 2001 at the Ångström Laboratory in Uppsala. The network is open for everyone (men and women) who consent with the objectives.
The next meeting of WIPS will be the
2nd Workshop for Nordic Network for Women in Physics, organised by
Nordic Network for Women in Physics, and will take place in Lund, Sweden, on 29-30 November, 2006.
Other topics of interest
- Second IUPAP International Conference on Women in Physics, took place on 23-25 May 2005, in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil
