Soft colour interactions

Page under construction...

The model for soft colour interactions is an alternative to the Ingleman-Schlein Pomeron model for describing diffractive hard scattering. The model was originally implemented in the LEPTO Monte Carlo for describing the rapidity gaps in DIS.

The model is also implemented as add-on routines to PYTHIA 5.7. This allows for the study of diffractive-like processes in the many reactions included in PYTHIA, e.g. hadron-hadron collisions.
